Very positive review of the 8R here. Have to say the silver version looks fantastic.

A bit worrying that he says increasing rear shock preload improved things for the track but as we all know doing that just raises the position the bike sits at! It has no effect on spring response or damping although psychologically you can imagine it does.....

He did say the pegs would scrape a bit on the road so jacking the back up via preload was probably sensible for the track.

And it does look nice in silver.

Hmmm, he said he thought the shock was starting to get overwhelmed on the road and so on track would really suffer - only a different shock is going to stop that....
