Apologies to all but as I said last week, I'm not going to make this now.

I've been away since Friday and won't get home until this afternoon, so I'm sick of traveling, and I'm knackered. Which would mean I'd be even more tired by the time of ridden over, and I'd probably be a danger to myself.

I'm gutted, as the weather looks perfect.

Sorry again guys

No worries Mav, I fully understand. Have a restful weekend and maybe head out on the SV for a short run somewhere!

Auxilliary socket hopefully. The seller gave me some pins for the connector and I think he left a blank half fitted in there. The Yamaha connectors are hard to find... out of stock everywhere. I have auxilliary lights too but will fit those to the battery via a relay.. at a later date as I can't be doing with too much work on the bike today. Need to pack etc too.

I'm not as up to speed with how to undo everything on this bike as I was on the SV. I could have the tank up etc on the SV in a few seconds. This one involves looking things up in the Haynes manual everything I do.

Theres two typew of onnector! Two small square ones, one of which is taken by the 12v socket, and two larger ones. All 2A fused, so any hefty aux lighting will need relayed anyway as would heated clothing etc.

I'm confident I have some of the larger type if you need them, can bring crimping tool too. Be home at 3 so can check no problem

Re bike - 4 screws removes the screen, below that are 4 larger allens holding the metal plate. Below that is a plastic shroud held in by little push clips (push centre in) you may need to undo the screen adjusters to get this off. Right there in front of you is the rubber boot containing the aux's

Cheers Gary, we've done over a 1000 miles of driving this week, I've seen Stonehenge 3 times in 3 days, not including working as well. it's been a bit full on.

Yep I do need to give the Sv a shakedown ride, as I haven't since the carbs were cleaned, hopefully this hot weather will stay for next week.

Maybe, if you're up for it, I'll take a ride over to your side of the country at some point. Not ridden in the flatlands since I had an old 250cc Matchless in the early 70's!

Cheers for the tips. I'm making a right mess of the crimping today. I have one connector (the grey / beige one?) and two pins. Looks like I've totally mangled the pins now though trying to rush getting it all ready. Looks like I might be going straight to the batery for a while!
