Default how to make sticky back vinyl work on curves?

Would I need a special sticky backed vinyl to allow me to apply it to a curved glass surface, or can heat be used to allow it to form over a curve without creasing?

Thanks, Lee

I know caz650s applied some vinyl to his fairing on his curvy and it looked really good.

He's sold it now, but if you look him up in the community his Sv is his avatar, so you can see the effect

cool, thanks for the replies, will give it a go then. Im tempted to fill in the area on the projector light which isnt required, so theres just the clear circle remaining.

It might look utter crap
