Best way to see is do a search for what you want e.g. Zeiss Contessa, then tick the box for Sold listings (bottom of the list of filters on the left) and take a consensus and check a few of the more extreme prices for their condition. I would guess £75-100 for the US, around £50-60 for EU, but often more. Not that I've been looking or owt. Selling prices of anything are all over the place but the sold prices are the actual value.

Seems my "new" K1000 is a late model made in China. They dropped the Ashai name from the top plate. Still chuffed though. Now, to root out a lens for the Minolta.

Just noticed the serial number for the X300 is 1001001. Bit like the time code from Futurama!

That's a cool number; a palindrome! I never noticed that.
Any first impressions? I know you've not used it yet but you've got lots of toys to compare it too. I liked the solid shutter thwack and the metering display is more informative than the 700.

Its bigger than I was expecting. On par with the K1000. Easy to use shutter speed selector and a simple on/off switch. Will need to look at Butkus for a manual.

The OM10 arrived today. Nobody was in so the postie very kindly left it under a tree in the garden. Thank god it didn't rain.
It feels tiny after holding the Minolta but I like the viewfinder display, numbers are really clear and easy to read. I thought the lens I got might be a bit of a monster but actually, it balances quite nicely.

Thought it would have been there quicker. Glad it arrived ok. Pop a snap up with the lens. They are great little cameras to use.

I'll post a pic with the lens tomorrow.
Looking forward to using it and the layout feels vaguely familiar. Hopefully, the manual adapter will arrive before the weekend.
