Warranty
Just been reading through my service/warranty book and nowhere does it state that you have to have the services done at a VAT registered garage, let alone a Suzuki dealer. It does however say that any parts fitted must be done by a 'competant' person. Proof of competancy maybe required in the event of a claim.
I can service my bike more 'competantly' than most dealers can. I've worked on, and restored bikes for 25 years. I'd like to do my own servicing - keep all receipts and maybe stamp my own service book. I presume by Suzuki not mentioning that I can't or saying that the bike has to be serviced by a dealer I can go ahead without voiding my warranty. Disscuss.... |

my local said if i do the servicing myself and buy the parts from him, he will stamp my book as he knows that i use honda approved parts.
