You can get any size tent on its just about how you pack it. At AR06 we took the tent out of its bag and stuffed it into the tailpack and then strapped the poles on top of the tailback as it took up less room that way.

Or if you fancy it dont bring a tent at all and use the 12 x 12 tent that we've got if you wanted

Thanks Fizz, I'm gonna use the transporter to get my gear down anyway. But I want a tent that I can use more than once, as I want to start doing more and longer trips on my bike. So hence why I'm after a semi descent tent, that will fit on a bike!

If it's a decent tent your after may i suggest you don't buy one from teco/asda/lidl they are cheap for a reason and that is because the materials they use are very basic. For instance the fabric has a very low hydrostatic head value, i.e they let the rain in if it rains to hard and the seams are not sealed very well.

Don't get me wrong they are a bargain for festivals or one offs but if your looking for a tent to last then you should pop along to Blacks or some where and see what they have. Some thing like this is a good buy http://www.blacks.co.uk/Tents-and-Ca...ct/095640.aspx

I got a Vango delta 300 for last years AR, Its a 3 man tent, which in reality means its a one man with loads of room for your gear, cost me about £60 I think.
Cheaper here though.

If you're worried about things fitting, you're not using enough bungies.
