Default Where is the idle adjuster on the new model?

Please and thanks.

It was obvious on the K5. I can't see it on the new (2016) one!

I'm pretty sure late model pointies didn't have one. So I doubt the AL7 will either.

Thanks for the replies.

That seems like a step backwards from Suzuki.

I have

- Revs dropping to 1k when idling
- Slightly jumpy acceleration
- More harsh engine braking

This has come on recently. I thought adjusting the revs might help. Maybe it is something else? The only thing I can think of is air filter, but that looks ok.

Within warranty period? Just take it to a dealer.

There should still be an idle adjuster screw... part number 2...?

Jerky low rpm running sometimes cured by throttle position sensor reset?

I was going to suggest TuneECU but after a quick look it seems there are no Suzuki models listed. Shame, as it helps a lot of Triumph riders I've met.

Several other sites offer it though but I've no idea how good might be.

you cant adjust the idle on any of the twin spark engines. if your idle revs are dropping it could be a faulty clutch switch or the more common fault on the new SV AL7 is the temp sensor.

simple to test the clutch switch. sit on bike with sidestand up and dont pull clutch in and start bike. does it start? if so then its the clutch switch.
