Default Cycling to work

Just wondering how many of you cycle to work... or cycle for fun for that matter.

Just did my first cycle to work this morning and got lost in woodlands... took nearly two hours.

When I got into the office and checked Google maps it turned out I had got halfway to work... and then pretty much just turned back and headed back home.

Lesson learnt - I know the way now... I think

I cycle most days, either all the way or into town to get the bus. About 7 miles either way. Don't bother using the (motor)bike unless I'm going further afield after work and won't have time to come home first.

i'm lucky in that i can do my house to work with only ~100m of main road, the rest is tiny back streets or off road so i cycle on the days i don't have to haul survey kit around, wakes you up something fierce on a day like today

My cycle to work is pretty much the same 200 metres or so of road and the rest is cycle paths through woodland.. Bloody cold this morning!

Mixture of cycle and car for me - although a Supermoto type bike would make sense for the roads I have to go on as its mostly single track back roads - thinking about it that would have been a recipe for disaster this morning so I was glad to be on the push bike!

Yep every day, straight to work is 2.1 miles but sometimes this can turn into 16 - 20 mile pedal on the way home.

I either cycle or walk, depending on my well being. Mind you, I work in a Bike shop, so turning up with an internal Combustion Engine is just not cricket!

My Gf has picked me up on the SV though, so I do occasionally get to show them both off.

Wish mine was that short - sometimes (like right now) facing an 8 mile unlit cycle home isnt very nice
