Default C02 emissions

why are new motorcycles not subject to CO2 emissions taxation like there 4 wheel cousins?

Because they prefer to rip me off by charging me more than someone with a 600 with 30bhp more?

A thought but aren't they measured by revving the rowlocks off (ie put a brick on the accelerator). Trying that on a motorcycle could be a new definition of fun in an enclosed space.

Oh and the fact you can get flmaes from your exhaust might melt a few probes.

People dyno motorcycles all the time and we're not all dead yet.

They're measured on a dyno at specific points in rev range and loads etc.
