Having a text conversation with the England cricket captain along the lines of...

Me: What time are you at the ground tomorrow? I've got something to drop off for you and the lads.

Him: Not sure, but just leave it at the gym next door, I'm there from 7.30am

Me: OK. It's 60 portions of banana loaf and chocolate cake to share among both teams [I baked for Middlesex too as it's Finn's birthday]

Him: Perfect!

I've never delivered that much cake to a gym before. I'm not sure it's going to give quite the right impression about the elite sportsman he is meant to be. Maybe I could claim they are protein bars

Hmm yeah unfortunately I still don't seem to be able to reach anything without using my midget step. When I try without the result is an upended open bag of flour all over my head. I looked like a member of a late 80s goth band.
