New to biking!!
Hi all,
I'm new to biking and have just purchased a Silver SV650s on and 03 plate!!! THIS BIKE IS THE ABSOLUTE NUTS!!!! I grinned all the way home from picking it up (once I stopped shaking) and was sad to have to cover it up!!!! If anyone has any advice tips or anything else regarding this bike I would really appreciate it. Also does anyone happen to know any of the following: 1. 0-60mph time? 2. Top speed? 3. Roughly how many miles a full tank will get me? Thanks, Kev |

Some sensible answers for ya 1) Fast enough - reason for this answer is it varies by rider - and is a useless bit of info anyway 2) 135 mph I believe - and is comfortable at 99 (and a bit higher :P) 3) I get about 100 to the warning light in London commuting and it takes about £10 to fill from there. Did a lot of running around in non-London this week and got 120miles from each tankful Also as you are in Dartford, get yourself down to the SELKENT meet a week on Wednesday, or into Soho next Friday David |

1) Yep around 4 secs, the K6 in last month's Bike did 4.35s 2) Saw an indicated 140mph on my K5 (test track officer ) 3) 180 miles is the most I got out of a tank and that was running on fumes, 100 - 140 miles til reserve light comes on normally Get a fender extender for the bike if it doesn't already have one as riding in heavy rain might cause the common problem of the front cylinder cutting out. |
