west london ride in /out tyres
Hi, appologies if this should be in tyres, but I've sent hours searching for a dealer to supply and fit either Z6's or RA's on my k4 svs.
Any of you know of a decent dealer out west (Hillingdon is where I'm at) I've spoken to a dealer advertising ride in / out service who actually wanted £210 to fit Z6's to loose wheels and doesn't do ride in / out. Seems a bit steep having seen some of the deals others have got. I don't have paddock stands so loose wheel fitting isn't an option at the moment. Any suggestions gratefully received! Willing to travel of course! cheers Al

Would be interested in the responses here as I am in West Drayton so could be wanting to use the same fitters.
I don't need tyres yet but have you tried: HGB tyres in Ruislip or HQ motorcycles in West Drayton |

thanks Gents - I'll give ER and HQ a call.
I did try HGB, very vague about fitting costs. "It costs what it costs for your bike". £215 ballpark for loose wheels! Goodness knows how much to have them take the wheels off! Chiltern tyres say they are ride in fitters but when I called said they only did loose wheels also......so why put it on your website eh?! thanks again Al

In my opinion, you shouldn't use HGB tyres. Service and integrity do not seem to be forthcoming.

Well, looks like I am needing a new rear tyre in the not too distant future. Rang George White in Slough and quoted £195 for a pair of 020's fitted. Rang HGB and they were a bit vague on the prices, "pop in and we'll do you a good price".
Anybody want to offer up a better priced dealer?????? |
