Anyone planning on going?

May be there myself, not sure whether it will be Saturday or Sunday as if the weather is good I quite fancy doing the Wheel of Kent Bicycle (as opposed to Bike) ride on the 11th. Did that a few years ago, great fun if the sun shines. Because the friend I went with didn't fancy cycling back (only 40 or so miles!) we took the train home and due to engineering works actually took longer to get from Canterbury to Maidstone via Ashford and Paddock Wood (with hour long waits at each) by rail than by pedal power... So much for integrated transport policies

My expierence of the GEMS show, is that its hit and miss. Sometimes they do, sometimes they dont. Frank Thomas usualy have a tent there with loads of discount stuff. There are usualy a few lid stands. I havent been for a couple of years so may be worth a look.

I've bought a few odds and sods in the past but mainly small stuff, accessories for the main part rather than big purchases like leathers. As Viney said, the FT factory outlet is usually there, I picked up a pair of Aqua Boots for about a tenner and I can't find anything wrong with them.
