Hadn't been to Skegness in donkeys years, going there reminded me why...

But thats another 120miles added to the runin and we're now at 478miles

Service isn't booked as they said they'll squeeze me in as and when i'm ready just need to give them a day or two's notice, I'll probably ring them at the end of the week and get it booked in for next week

Could only go out for a short spin today cos the coffers are empty til the weekend, but it was just aswell cos i rode dreadfully (yes Ian, even worse than yesterday!!).

I went out looking at snakes (of the cold blooded variety ) its my eldest boys birthday next month and he wants a snake. But whilst the shop had a few nice 'uns they were about twice the price they should be so i'll have to look further afield. Ive kept and bred reptiles in the past so i know what im doing and luckily have the sense not to get ripped off.

114hp and 72ft/lb and a whole bucket full of smoothness thrown in - I cant recommend Mark at BSD Motorcycle Developments enough - he did a fantastic job as usual

Much more enjoyed the ride home than the ride there

Shame you couldn't make it Ian and Kelly - hopefully catch up with you soon.

Yeah sorry about that. My poor little man's still got it coming out of both ends but only because i had a full day planned for us all, if we were going to be at home all day then he'd have been fine.

Sod and his flaming law again!!!

Glad you're pleased with the end result......... when do i get to try it out

No worries - I can now sympathise totally with how children can easily mess up your day! Cant imagine what its like with three!

My bike is actually nice to ride at slow speeds now - 30s and 40s were a pain before as it was terribly lumpy - it had a map installed from the Dynojet website - which was total rubbish - Mark shook his head when he saw how lean it was at the bottom end - no wonder it was horrible to ride!

If you want to try it you are more than welcome (Bluff called! )

I need you guys to answer something for me please, i woke up in the night thinking about it and now i need to answer the question to get it out of my mind!

My MOTs due early May and i need to get the baffle back in, but it was already out when i got the bike so dont know how it was originally attached.

Its a FUEL exhaust and theres a hole in the exhaust and matching hole in the baffle. Is it simply a case of getting a nut and bolt and screwing it back in, or should there be a spacer of some kind between the two. How do i do it? Can't afford to risk it failing!!

Thank-yoo xx
