Default New biking gear

I have just bought myself a Triumph textile suit[Sympatex] similar to Gortex-----great suit, warm and very comfortable fit.
One problem,I slide all over the place on the seat.I haven't bought new textiles for nearly seven years and I can't remember if I had this problem last time.
Any advice as I am sliding forwards and backwards on the seat under hard braking and acceleration

When I re-proofed my trousers I had the same thing. And when I cleaned and polished the seat on my old bike! It'll settle down soon enough, if you can't wait that long just paint a bit of thinned-down honey on the seat, should be a bit stickier!

Gentle squeeze of the tank with the knees stops the slide into the tank under braking, the tendancy to slide reduces after a few miles anyway.

Just drag your bum round the house on the carpet in the manner of an ill behaved canine!

You'll soon be roughed up nicely.

Poundstretchers do a roll of rubber matting for the kitchen, its a quid a roll. The equivalent bike stuff is more expensive 'wonderwebb'. You use it to stop your tailpack sliding around, or in my case the Poundstretchers stuff goes over the back of the bike to protect my plastics from bungee damage.

Chuck a load over the seat, my Corbin used to be slippy, forgot I used the stuff when I wore my draggin jeans.
