Default Badass exhausts: Roadsitalia

I was browsing Youtube and happened to come across this exhaust can manufacturer who make sweet sounding exhausts and don't look half bad either. They're quite a bargain actually.

It does sound nice, however the semi full system looks cheap and nasty! The rear down pipe just connects straight in front of the can, no curving under the engine to get the downpipes the same length.

Yes, it seems you're right DD, However it's incredibly cheap isn't it? And the quality of the cans seems to be quite good as a lot of my Italian neighbours are impressed and are buying them like hotcakes!

the can in that youtube vid, sounded just like my Art can on Suzy. Nice and deep, lurverly sweet noise. We chopped it down a little, and it seems to sound a little different to the longer ones

On the odd occasion, its all part of the fun. Happens more so when i haven't warmed her up properly on a cold day. Completely random when it does happen....why???

Well, I'm thinking of cutting up a Scorpion can to the size of the Roadsitalia shown on the youtube video just because it looks so cool and badass, and was wondering whether it'll start backfiring like in the video. Most probably I'd have to re-jet the curvy again?

I've got a Scorpion on the other a little longer than the one in the picture. It doesn't backfire at all, and its never needed to be rejetted. the Art can was cut down a little before it was put on the bike, probably didn't need jetting, but, was anyway. The Art can is barely noticeable that its been cut down until you size it up against my spare ART can in the loft

this is the scorpion, but IMO it sounds like a tin of beans

Most of the common UK Exhaust manufacturers say that if the can is 350mm or longer it will get away with not needing rejecting (this is slip on cans only and not with full systems)
