I didn't want to hack them off as I'm keeping all the original parts...so a new one was needed. It very nearly fitted as well!!! but unfortunately the bottom mount was off so I made and adaptor plate. You really can tell unless you go looking. The cover frame was a made at work, the honeycomb mesh was supplied again...you've guessed it..by ebay! Oh and I moved the horn...looks better out of the way and can only help with cooling...not that it's ever been a problem.
I tried one of those ebay jobs on my build an encountered the same issue, i sent mine back though, had a mare with the sellet too. I went for one of the Delkevik units in the end.

Thanks. The exhaust is made by Scorpion - the high level oval 400mm version with removable baffle . It comes highly polished (with sticker) but as I wanted the brushed finish the sticker had to come off. The springs on the link pipe were added as I liked the look. Getting the seat and exhaust to align was a bit of a pain. I added rose joints to the subframe to lift the back end a little. To be fair the standard set up is not too far off. Hopefully if i've done this right there should be the details of the exhaust below...

Sorry guys...replied to the wrong person...doohhhh!!
I agree the Delkevic is a far better rad...the rad was the last item to get replaced and funds were running low.

I've not had any bother so far, touch wood.
But if I get pulled up for it, so be it, the larger one will go back on.

It started here after they got the ANPR in the cars and there's even a couple of special cameras here in Hull with ANPR.

I can't argue with it as I don't want uninsured T*ats on the road etc but I can't see the harm in a custom plate so long as their gear can read it

Thanks for the info on the rad.

I also like what you've done routing the rear brake line along the torque arm, keeps it very clean, a nice touch.
