I'm jealous

I did the new GP layout in April and it's absolutely awesome. The first right then left that takes you into the new section is incredible and taken soooo fast

Don't worry about tyres. If you do smoke'em they'll be a tyre chappy there ready to sell and fit some more at an inflated price

Facilities are also great, everyone gets a garage with power, sink, toilet etc. Mallory it ain't

Enjoys

That spare rear you have may not be much fun on the track either as it was fairly squared off I thought?

Just got back from a frankly awesome day!!!

Went out for my first session. 2 sighting laps silverstone is long and at the pace the instructors were setting took up half the session. Some of the groups of riders that were let out later than I was only had these sighting laps then the cheqered flag came out.

Session went okay, felt like I was going quite fast and overtook quite a bit, but the bike didn't feel great or confidence inspiring so I took it to the suspension specialists and had it set up.

Went out into the next session and immediately the difference was noticeable...so much so that I got my kneedown for the first time ever!!! Was so happy!!!

The last session was the best for me though, throughout the day I could consistantly get my left knee down on almost every left hander but couldn't for the life of me be consistant with the right, I could have a tiny scrape here and there. The last session however was a lot less busy (we had around 80 bikes in each group) and could keep a rhythm. Right handed kneedowns became as consistant and the lefts and I was beeming,

Binky managed to blag his way into my group for the last session too and dropped in behind to see where I was fast...consistantly nowhere was the answer to that question but for me it wasn't about pace, I had two aims for the day...get my suspension sorted and get my kneedown at least once on the left. I surpassed my goals and left a happy chappy.

Didn't bin it and never even felt close to doing so, all in all a result of the day.

We were also joined by Pete the Pyjama Toting Pit Bitch who was on hand to lighten the mood and lower the tone Na it was good to see him...although I think he wanted to have a go as well...he even offered to look after my key and threatened to take it for a lap...I wouldv'e let him n all

Specialone was also knocking about with a falic looking camera so hopefully he got some good shots.

Oh and highlight for the day for me: Bike tips in to take a left hander, another bike decides to go around the outside of him, I decide to put my knee on the ground and ride around the both of them
