Petrol and Ethanol
have they rolled out the 10% at pumps in the UK yet? only asking as i seem to be down on my usual mileage. i was sitting around 13mpl and i'm now down to 11mpl

think i have found the problem... fekin tight spot on one of the front discs thought it was pulsing coming to a slow stop. |

ok i took the bolts off the disc and gave it a few spins on the hub and it seems to have made things better. wont know till i go for a ride.

well just been out for a wee night blast and all is well with the discs
i asked the staff at my local petrol station and they did not have a clue about the ethanol. |

cheers willf, i already knew about that. i have actually changed the bobbins for serviceable ones. disc must have been sitting a bit funny on the hub.

I believe Manufactureres not doing it yet but when they do the pumps will have to be labeled 'Unleaded Petrol 95 E10 Not suitable for all vehicles' and the big suppliers will still be selling E5 for further 3 years.

whatever they sell at Tescos, it gets terrible mpg in my wife's Civic compared to most other petrol stations, probably 5-6mpg less than usual, we normally get 35-40mpg.
