Default Suzuki 0% offer on new bikes

I see on a few websites that suzuki are offering 0% finance deals on a handful of new bikes including the SV, is this something they do every year at this 'off-peak' season?

I really want another SV after having mine written off but would be better for me if I could wait till this time next year, however I don't wanna miss the 0% deal... cheers.

I know they did it last year, but it was more towards the end of summer, rather than mid-Autumn.

For what it's worth, the last offer like this was extended at least two months beyond what they initially said.

One point though, it's a 3 year contract. Should the worst happen (lets hope not though eh?) and you write the bike off, you'll still have to pay for it (unless it's fully comp insured, and they give you the actual value of the loan outstanding). That's a pretty big gamble, so look into Gap insurance (insurance that makes up the difference in any payout offered by the insurance company).

Cool ok, worth bearing in mind then, i'm still paying the loan for my SV that I only had for 4 months so I don't really want it to happen again!

I can vouch for how good a Gap like policy is - I had invoice price protection and when my car was written off in the floods the finance got paid off and I also got back the extra that I had already paid.

There are a few different policies avalible...basic gap that will just pay the difference of the finance and the insurance pay out, and what I had, which protects what you paid for the car/bike.

iv heard that the k7 sv650 and the bandit 650 will be sold as used and at a knock down price at the start of the next year, as they will no longer meet the eu rule, so suzuki wants to get rid of them.

I hope this may be of help mate....

I got my SV this year, its the K6 Sport so fully faired with the seat cowl. I paid £4199 for mine, with alarm and R&G crash bungs on top so I think it worked out about £4510 or something like that can't remember I know its £125/month for my bike over 3 years. I am paying a bit more than just the bike by its self, but I couldn't afford the extra at the time and just added it to the fiance doesn't cost any extra.....

I have the gpa insurance is as well, that works out about £25 ish/month there abouts, I hope I never have to use it.

For me its the only way i couls afford to have a bike, I love my bike to bits! Beware anyone who comes between me and thunder!

This just me but I say go for it, if you can afford it!
