Default temperatures

I was stuck in slow moving traffic last week, noticed the temp on the dash on my relativly new SV ( about 600miles on it) showed 105 degrees c!

Normally when im on the move the temps sit around 80.

Im thinking this isnt too normal... am i wrong?

mine goes to 104 or so then the fan kicks in and cools it down to under 100

the manual says to worry if it goes over 120

intresting! will have a look tomorrow!
any ideas as to roughly what temps the fan kicks on?

Also totally unrelated but roughly how many miles do you get to a liter on your sv's?

you won't here the fan clicking unless it's broken, you'll hear the relay click, the fan makes a whirring whooshing noise
