FAO: Spiderman!
I hear you are the man to ask!
I wonder if you can help me, let me explain with some pictures Things apparently you may want to know: My tax disk wasn't on the bike when I got the ticket, it was in my pocket. The pavement seems to have a road name. This is *exactly* where it was parked when it got the ticket. It was about 9:45pm last night. Any help you could give me would be absolutely wonderful, if you would like any more info or the original sized images please let me know Again, any help you could give me would be wonderful, thank you. So now the rulingn is that is the footlights are in a place whereby pedestrians have a right to cross it then its part of the pavment. the only way round this is for a notice to be put up saying "This is private land and not the pavemnt" or something like that. That way you are only gonna get called up for the fact that you must have rode over the pavent ... but thats the cops business not the wardens, so dont worry on that score. I want to email you some images mate so send me a PM or SMDC with your private email addy please

Re: FAO: Spiderman!
Slightly off topic (I'm sorry) but what if there were the brass studs in the pavement which show someone's private boundary?

Re: FAO: Spiderman!
Good question but from what i understand they only mark out the boundaries for the outside space a shop/cafe can use. They dont create an exclusive area that is not meant to be used by the general public.

Re: FAO: Spiderman!
The brass strips are usually accompanied by a sign saying "no public right of way within the strips" or something like that anyway. Theres one near the office, I'll photo it.

Re: FAO: Spiderman!
Not at all, I just prefered the bike to be in a place a lot close to me, where it could be seen (ish) and not stuck out on the road with all the heap of **** mopeds just waiting to be caught by a passing retarded bus driver and having my bike trashed
60 pounds is cheaper than most parts on a bike |
