Default sliding down the road on your backside

Be careful out there in this weather please folks, just gone down the road on my backside, sprained wrist and back hurts like feck.

Glad I was only walking the dog and not on a bike. I felt my feet going and just knew there was nothing I could do to stay upright.

Big up to the dog he stayed with me until I got back up.

Who is responsible for ensuring the pavement is ice free. This happened just outside the area a local car show sales use for cleaning cars and is permanently wet. I guess it simply froze over night. Are they responsible, or is it the council as it was on the pavement.

Can I blame/claim for the pain of my back, the distress and punitive damages to ensure they clean up after themselves. OK, only joshing about this. God I wish britain had a litigation culture and people were so paranoid about ensuring they did not get sued

Well i think you should have a word with the car sales place, just let them know that it might be a good idea if they salt the path outside where their water runs....incase someone threatens a law-suit

Have a nice hot bath to sooth your aches a bit

Matt

Tim I am sure that your decline was done in a most graceful manner? Did it begin with a blast of soft shoe shuffle and then double cossack kick in to the air?

Hope yer not aching too bad fella.

You can complain.....then next week there will be a sign up saying, 'DANGER - Footpath slippy when frozen' .......then everyone on here can have a good moan about H&S again lol

If you really wanted to be arsey about it though and water was flowing across the path due to poorly maintained drainage on the car sales site.......

Glad your not hurt to bad mind, i bet you were laughing at yourself hoping no one had seen you though
