Default Leaky Rad

My Rad is leaking, I've chucked in some rRdweld after a full coolant swap and the leak appears to have slowed. So I'm going to chuck some more in as I only used about a quarter as the Radweld as it said it will do 11 litre rad, so I thought it was a bit of a over-kill on my little 1.6 litre rad.

But mainly I'm looking for other ideas, as I can see the leak and I will try to get a photo sorted if you wish.

Replace is easier than repair in most circumstances.

I've used this breaker search with some luck in the past:
http://www.bike-breakers.info/

Failing that there's a radiator shop / workshop of some kind at the end of Rictus' road, or there certainly used to be. No idea if they'd be happy sorting it?

Radiators are radiators- a normal radiator repair shop will almost certainly be able to fix it (assuming it's repairable), don't go to a specialist bike/automative place to have it done, it'll cost a lot more. Obviously it'll depend on what needs doing, but I'd imagine it'll be cheaper than buying one from a breakers.

I have a rad welded up before too, it broke at teh bolt attach points from stress. I had all the bolt points welded up and no probs now. Very cheap, just repaint it after.

Grinch,

I got a repair done in Hilsea - Limberline Spur. Back street place and it cost £15. Serck Marston wanted £180 for a brass recore or £300 for an ally recore.
