These type of lids are fine for the city ( you can have a fag whilst poddling along) but aren't really that good for any distance, the void in front of the face is a little larger than most and makes them a bit noisy and they can even suffer for rain coming down the inside of the visor in heavy weather.
as a second helmet OK but a little limiting as your only one I'd say. Cheers Mark.

.. the best bet is to go and try on various types of lids to see which make fits your head size the best... it's not really something to just go on the bling factor (although very tempting in some cases) as after all it has to protect your head

i have tryed both on and find roof nearly tears my tabs off getting it on but fits snug and the hjc is also a pain as the breath thing pokes your eyes out tryin to get it on !! but feels so light and plush
