Default donno if this is right

ok well im not too sure if this is right on my bike or if there is sommit wrong. firstly i am a bit of a novice with the bike so not sure if this is usuall. im guessing if the engine is off and the bike is in gear when you pull the clutch in, you should be able to move the bike freely? no?

well on my bike it feels like there is resistance as if the clutch isnt engages properlly not sure if this will make much differance when riding the bike as it doesnt seem to. just want some advice cheers.

2000 curvy. new clutch about 100 miles ago

Yes, shouldn't be much resistance at all.

Whats it like in neutral? If there's still resistance there then the brakes are probably the problem. If not then the clutch could need adjusting.

Is it different with the oil hot and cold? I can't push mine in gear, clutch in, with cold oil, but it's fine when hot.

oh right so it might be something to do with the amount of oil on the clutch plates?

i think with cold oil i cant really move it when its in gear with the clutch in but with hot oil i can move it but it still feels like there is some resistance

when its in neutral its fine which is what was making me think its the clutch but was just checking if this is normal. never really experianced this before. might go adjust the clutch slightly and see if that makes any differance

Mine rolls freely with hot or cold oil in gear with the clutch in.

Me too.
