Bike Friendly B&B Scotland (Aberdeenshire)

Well folks, I must admit that I was impressed. Myself and Quedos paid a visit to Aberdeen at the weekend and planned a stopover in nearby Edzell in order to make more of an event out of the visit.

It's a small B&B in the beautiful little town of Edzell. It's particularly good for those of you wishing to tour in same sex pairs since there are three rooms available and TWO of those are TWINS. This is a great help at keeping costs down but enjoying a bit of luzury at the same time. The Cairn o' Mount pass (described as "Adventurous") is just up the road and is very popular with bikers.


Our room had:

FULL Size kettle
FULL size microwave
Generous wardrobe space (with room on top for panniers and lids)
Small fridge ( )
FULL size iron and ironing table
FULL size hairdryer
20" (approx) TV with VIDEO & DVD (and a wide selection of tapes/discs)
A rather posh WC & shower room with big fluffy towels

The breakfast was brilliant and choice was varied. We parked the bikes on the drive which was in front of both the dining room and our own room window.
