Default aldi air compressor.

The air compressors being flogged off by aldi's are rated as 97 dbA. How loud is that? I was thinking about getting one but don't want to p*ss my neighbours of more than I have already

Any ideas about a silencing cabinet enclosure?

I couldn't find it listed either. Just been down to Port Talbot Aldi to get one.

I believe that this is the same compressor but branded differently.

Why on earth would you want a compressor?

By the time, you have got it out, taken off the seat to plug it in, etc, i would have pumped both my tyres up with a foot pump

97db is a tad loud, but then the one on the girlfrinds car is very loud.

I wasn't thinking of using it primarily to put air into tyres. Now that would be silly wouldn't it.

Them's a good buy, still got a few of 'em left at our Aldi. They're 3hp too. Can run a fair few air tools off 3hp. Noise is a tad much but if it's your garage like mine they aint too bad.

I have one, it works a treat as well, it's not too lond but I would not run it at night as it is a little loud for that.

i got this and have used a few of the bits with it etc

it would have been nice to be a little less noisey

i have done a few bits of painting with the cheapo gun and once your use to it get a relly nice job

used it to pump a car tyre from flat but due to living in a close and not a long enough power lead pumped the compressor up and went to the car with it, and it just and i mean just pumped it up
