Default OMG! (omgomgomgomg)

*runs around flapping*

So, I'm off storm chasing in 31 days. A film company doing a prog on adrenalin junkies is going to film us a bit while we're out there.
"Ok... That's kewl" thinks I... "No biggie. It'll be fun." That was all agreed with them a month or so ago.

Today I get an email:

"
I was wondering that further to our telephone conversations, whether it would be possible to meet up and have an informal interview on camera. If this is possible, please let me know when and if you are free. It would only be a maximum of 1 hour, and as I said will be very informal."

I've not replied as of yet owing to me opting to get over the initial shock and subsequent terror...

DON'T PANIC!!!

*twitches*

Thedonal - er... nope!

Viney - Oddly enough, I totally forgot that was on. Haven't watched much tv lately. Will have to look out for re-runs.

Oh well- had to ask!

There was a fantastic documentary called Storm Chasers on Channel 4, years ago- taped it at the time, but lost it (no longer have any VHS). I'm so sad that it was never released on DVD, as it was one of the better documentaries to cover this topic and would have benefitted from extra footage (and rainage, and hailage etc).

Got me really fascinated by extreme weather- I'd love to go on a storm chasing trip myself at some point.

I sense you might have temporarily regressed to giggly over excited school girl stage so I'm feeling a little guilty about peeing all over your bonfire but where exactly are you going storm chasing? Just that it seems to me that "extreme weather" in the UK is generally "three tiles came off a house in Birmingham today" wheras in the US it's "half mile swirling vortex of death brings destruction to thousands".

If you're going to the pan handle states for some proper storm chasing then I'm dead jealous and have vicariously also reverted to giggling over excited school boy status I'm going to go re-watch Twister

Tornado Alley, USA.

I'm by no means giggling about the interview though... unless it's that fearful giggling one does before doing something that utterly terrifies you...
