Thanks to all who donated for my charity beard off-piccy time

Thank you all very much who donated to Shooting Star House for my make over. I haven't done a total yet as the local rag are going to print it and I haven't collected all the cash pledges yet.

When it actually came down to it I was very nervous but had stocked up on booze which took away the butterflies. The first snip took ages to do. I kept going for it and pulling out at the last minute.

The very next day I phoned my folks and sent a picture message to my Sister. My Mum was tearful even though she said she didn't like it! I also spoke to my 4 year old Neice who nearly broke my heart in two. She said she liked me with the beard and asked if I could shave it back on, all the time with the bottom lip getting more wobbly, and that her Uncle should have a beard. She won't remember me without it.

I still have the beard and might put it on ebay as suggested by a fellow .orger. Apparently one reached ?70!

Do it do it! I didn't have enough to grow full mutton chops. As you can see in the last few I'm not a very hairy man.

Won't be there Friday Zig I'm afraid. Ma und Sis are visiting. Keep it in your jacket pocket though so you don't spend it! Oh and I'll assume you will come back and edit the last bit of that post or I'll grow it all back. I actually shaved again yesterday! Feels weird but sort of 'clean'.
