Hiya Girls n' Guys
The rubbers on my front foot pegs are starting to really wear down. Do any .org members know if: 1. The rubbers can be brought separately and put on? 2. What other foot pegs from other bikes will fit? 3. Anyone has a pair for sale? I have a K3 SV650. I really want to keep the original look of the foot pegs and don't want to buy the tacky/breakable anodised ones? Any ideas. Thanks in advance. Mr Chin

Originals are under 17 quid each from your local suzy dealer, but I believe that if you peel off the rubber there is a perfectly good metal peg underneath. Wait until somebody who actually knows comes along before trying it out.

Same here, I seem to wear down the left side rubbers pretty quick for some reason. Was thinking of buying some aftermarket solid aluminum ones or maybe have them fabricated on a lathe somewhere. Seem simple enough to make.

I used stock footpegs from a GSX-R600K1 on my SV-650K7.
Perfect fit and very grippy metal without any rubber covers on these. |

Peel the rubber off Zunkus. I'm sure Northwind said curvy ones are just GSXR metal ones with a rubber topping.

Thanks for the replies guys
I'm just after the rubbers, if they do them. ?34 for the pair - not the sort of money I want to pay. My foot pegs are fine, it's just the rubbers that have worn down. I do prefer riding with the rubber type pegs as opposed to those made of alu - the anodised cr@p, as I find them wimpy and breakable, and in MY personal opinion, I think they are tacky. (Recently got told off by Fuel Exhausts for saying some exhausts were of the same quality). So please bear in mind that me saying these are tacky is of my opinion - what I think. Just in case an alu foot peg manufacturer see this post. Any ideas on pegs from other bikes that fit the SV, as egay hasn't got any SV pegs at the moment? Chin

All the SRAD gixxers fit. Check in parts fishes on the net and you'll know.

Cheers All
Looks like I won't be able to get the rubbers separately. I think I'll go with the grippy Gixxer pegs then. Got my man-bag and purse - off to egay!! Chin

S or N, you can just peel the rubbers off. I prefer em that way.
