Default rear wheel

rear wheel question, i've been reading on the site about people putting 180 or 170 rear tires on the 650, and how the sv1000 swingarm won't fit on the 650, but is it possible to put an sv1000 rear wheel straight on the 650 which already has a 180 tire?

Or am i just being silly?

ps. i'm talking about a pointy.

The SV 1000 wheel is wide, it needs machined down (or rather, i think it's maybe just the sprocket carrier that needs machined). But Bandit 1200 wheel should work, it does for the curvy. Leaving aside the whole worth it/not argument, that's probably the way to go. You can also use a Honda rear wheel which gives a 5.0 rim, I forget which, CBR F3?

"Aftermarket's the way to go", yup, my rear fireblade Dymag is saving me a load of weight in its current location (the shed)
