Default how to de-restrict pointy

I have a restricted k5.
I am wondering how exactly to de-restrict it?

Its just an ECU change.

Take it you are about to go through your 2 year probation period? If you bought the bike second hand the guy should have the original ECU.

A rather easy ECU swap.

unless it was restricted like my K3 via a very annoying and homosexual throttle restriction they also put oversized washers in the inlet which made the bike run rich and would misfire and hesitate even though it was completely standard!

That would be the FI restriction.

samurai.dan - Do you have a certficate for the 33bhp restriction, if so it will say there which one you have fitted.

Should I not mention that some Suzuki dealers have been known to put the restricted ECU in for free?
