Hi, I didn't wanna post in sales section, as not technically for sale, just considering it...
I wondered what I should expect to get for my sv650? Photo Below... Its a '99 curvy... and has: Renthal bars (at least I think they are!) Progressive springs (bought from jhs) New brakePads all round Relatively new tyres (LOADS left...Bridgestones) Very expensive and nice rear sets, Twin headlights micro indicators (new on front) Art Racing can (big dent in the top, but i dont wanna change it as it sounds amazing!) New MOT (11 Months and a half months left) A bit of Tax (Aug 0 ![]() Bad Bits: Supoze it could do with new front discs soonish, but just passed MOT okay. The paper in the Rev counter is all flakey and hard to read. could do with a tidy and polish. Runs nice, sounds great! Just trying to figure out what I could expect to get for her if I decide to sell... wanting a speed triple, but trying to figure out how much cash I am going to need to make up the difference! Any advice would be great! Here is the bike: ![]() |

Sell the rear sets seperate (if you have originals) and the bike would still be worth £1000-£1200. Clean it up a little though!!

Mileage???
It doesn't matter what you do or how much you have done to a bike, it is worth the same if it is standard is the first thing to remember! My 750 is valued as a standard SV, now I know if I do decide to sell it I will have to either dismantle it or sell it to someone who appreciates the cost of building such a bike! Best to sell the bike standard and offer the aftermarkets parts at an extra cost or sell them separately! |

![]() Return to stock and sell the tat. The rearsets won't add £100 to the bike, but will get you £100 sold separate! ... in fact if you PM timinbelgium, he'll prolly have them for a ton ![]() |

![]() ![]() So I am thinking of a speed triple... but need summat to go towards it, hence considering selling the SV. I wud love to keep it, as its great fun... but i just can't afford 2 bikes at the moment really! MILEAGE: - well, i looked last nite, i will double check, but i think it was 29k... but the thing is... the clock says kph... but has been converted to mph... so is the odo miles or kilometers?
