Well I documented the destruction of my escort, finally I have the head off the car and have sadly deemed it non repairable so its being scrapped,
For those who have never seen inside a car engine i thought I would post these pics for you to have a look at, It would appear that cylinder 2 coolant bore was never big enough causing the liner to score over the years and eventually its cracked the head into the coolant bore and as such pressurised the cooling system and as such... kaput... ell bugger... ![]() ![]() ![]() so there we go.. ell knackered car... Replaced it already but bugger.... ![]() RIP Ellie.. |
