£.££/litre ... the petrol survey

So, its not cheap, and it never really has been for a while, we all know that

That said, I remember it being 67p a litre back in the day when I used to help my dad go to the petrol station..... So:

Whats the last price you paid, and where...

or

Whats the last price you SAW and refused to pay, so kept going?

Diesel/Petrol. Grade is irrelevant.

I'll Start:

£ 1.26/l - BP - Unleaded, at a pump that was 1.16 last week. Postcode = GU14
Kept going, its just round the corner from my house so theres more options yet.

118.9 Maxol BT32 same most places around my area

At the moment I try to fill up at not more than 118.99p (mad innit) . Last week whilst on reserve and a few stations not having any unleaded, I filled up at 117p(Total in Balham)....good surprise that as most were 119p or more

BP seems to be taking the pish the most I have to say.

I filled up at Morrisons in Nantwich £1.15.9 For unleaded

Have seen it for £1.23.9 in Holmes Chapel (Near the Motorway)

I remember I used to fill my X5 Suzuki up for under £2 in the good ole days

EASTERN ROAD TEXACO - portsmouth - £1.22

My last fillup was 115.9, at Morrisons in Bramley, but when I went out for the ride I'd filled up for, I saw a 129.9 sign

My local station (Esso) is currently £1.22.9 for unleaded and £1.35.9 for Diesel. Its geting quite silly now!

i've seen diesel advertised at £1.49/l on some of the smaller garage forecourts on the island, and that wasn't during the fuel strike or anything, just business as normal - no wonder they're shutting so quickly... i refuse to stop at the garage closest to me, which was at 1.33/l a couple of weeks back when i drove past, and generally stop at morrisons for all my fuel, A. because it's fairly close and right near where i work so i can grab some on the way in, and B. it's generally the cheapest on the island, currently 1.17/1.30 for petrol/diesel

£1,31.9/liter diesel at my local Esso...

We are having car petrol tank pipes cut around here and the fuel syphoned out it has happened to a few of my neighbours, the way its going looks like the petrol will be more valuable to the thieves than your car stereo
anyway petrol 118.9 and diesel 131.9 around here
