Default Video Editing Software-Advice

There are a number of people who produce their own videos on here. What software do you use?

Primarily, I am interested in adding music and adjusting levels throughout the footage. It would be nice if it was fairly straight forward as it wont be me using it!

Ulead Video Studio.

I downloaded it via torrent* so had no manuals, and it's easier to use than a rubber mallet!

*I may of since paid for it at full RRP from Ulead directly....

I got a bit of software called Pinnacle Studio, seems alright, lots of features and came free with a capture usb job. Bit resource hungry but I guess most video editing will be.

Well if you want to be picky, what is? If you have an apple, then it comes as standard along with the computer so you don't need to buy any additional software. If you don't have an apple then you probably don't care as it's no use to you. HTH
