SV650x headlight/fairing options?
Hi everyone (new to the forum)
Just bought myself a '99 SV650x and I'm thinking of changing the round headlight to something more sporty. Does anyone know if I can fit the K3 onwards headlight unit and fairings to the bike or any other similar units? I'm reasonably open minded I just want to make it look a bit meaner Cheers Dave |

You can pretty much get anything to fit with the right bracketry although it would look odd with a Pointy front. You might want to look for something that matches the lines of the Curvy tank and seat unit more.

Yeah I think you might be right dangerous, I might try and photoshop it to see what it looks like, thought I might just get away with it...
I really don't like the curvy S fairings though - prefer what I've got.does anyone have any suggestions? cheers |

Well my opinions changed since then ^
Love all the 650s's curved or pointied. But still need something to do with mine

Personally if you can afford it, a reckon a KTM whatsitface front may look good...If not, have a look on Demon Tweaks, M&P etc and see what you can get. Take my advice, the cheap ones are shat when its dark.

Re: SV650x headlight/fairing options?
Cheers for your help guys I like the look of those links - just got to make sure the wirings okay and they're available in yellow! Couldn't find anything on demon tweaks though and M&Ps are all a bit alien. I'll google around for ktm stuff Cheers

Re: SV650x headlight/fairing options?
Thanks plowsie, not sure about headon but it looks nice from the sides.however I have a curvy yellow sv and really don't think that'd suit. thanks though mate. I was thinking about the mv brutale headlight but would that look a bit wrong on sv forks?
