Been working on an impulsive ebay purchase/wrecked bike for a month and now I can ride it

Few bits to finish off but done most of it

Thanks. Been out for another bimble today. Not sure if I like it- its a bit too fast Normally I am a really safe sensible rider but it just isnt possible to keep it to a sensible speed. Seriously good fun but not sure I should keep it as it might not be good for my driving license.

Surprisingly very little was actually damaged considering first impressions - no fork/frame damage. Most of the work involved tracking down parts. New clip ons, replacement engine case and top and one side fairing and a rear set was about all. Good relationship with a bodywork repairer who can use 2 pack paint helps. Still need to find a mirror/fairing bracket which appears to be unique to my bike and a couple of fasteners. Half a day stripping it and most of yesterday re-assembling and a few hours cleaning. Obviously cheated a bit by getting the bodywork done as I could never get it as good a finish on my own.
