Best Subscription Gift

Looking to subscribe to a certain motorcycle magazine (naming no names) but thinking of waiting till there is a decent gift. How sad am I?

So what is the best magazine subscription gift you have received and for what magazine?
Also what bike mag do you read?

I got a Kryptonite EV disc lock with a Ride subscription a few years back. To be honest, that was the only reason I subscribed... normally, I only get magazines if I'm going on a train journey or something like that to kill time.

I got my Mrs a subscription to Weight Watchers (she asked for it). But when they asked what name it was to be addressed to I gave them Mrs B Garse Ha ha she saw the funny side.

Got an Oxford HD chain/lock combo from subscribing to Bike mag recently. Saved me about £25 on the insurance, so when you add that to the cost of the chain/lock etc, I'm getting the mag for free! (and some)

Then again, if I was to buy a lock/chain combo, I'd probably go for Almax (sp?).

i got the same free gift, no good for proper security but enough for the isle of wight and just fits nicely under the pillion seat

Exactly, mines enough of a deterrent for a casual and has the added bonus of keeping the rain cover on in high winds!

We live on a main road in a small town so anyone messing with the bike would be in full view, plus (vehicle) crime is relatively low where I am.

Quite a few us had Shark S500 lids as part of a TWO subscription offer about 4 years ago.

Nice lids......I bought a second one about a year later and both still going strong.

I signed up online for BikesportNews last week and they sent me a rather nice Arai visor bag that matches the Arai padded helmet bag I got for subscribing to another online Bike site a few years ago.

Got some heated grips a year or so ago from RIDE. Not something i'd normally buy but they were very nice for the winter commute.

Bought a relative a subsciption to (yawn) RIDE, but kept the lovely Teng ball-end allen-key T-bar set all to myself. I'm loving them.
