Default My ZX-7R

Hi all, been away for about 18 months or so, some of you might remember me? I dunno, my greatest achievement was the pic in my avatar haha. But anyway, recently came back and posting again, hope to go on some ride-outs before the weather gets too bad

Thought I'd post some pics of what I am riding, bought it in May of this year after owning a VFR400R for a month and deciding it wasn't ideal for what I wanted. Picked it up off ebay for what I thought was a steal but the more things I try and fix the more I realise it's actually been pretty badly neglected.

I've just done a bit of work on it over the last couple of weekends including new headstock bearings, front wheel bearings, front discs, clutch kit and new exhaust system as the old one had quite a few holes in it! Finished it off today and I'm really happy with how it's turned out.

Anyway, here it is as I bought it,

And now;

Quick vid of the new exhaust;

I love it to be honest, quick enough for me, comfy, not as focussed as newer 600s and probably not a lot if at all quicker but it seems to do everything from commuting to thrashing fairly well, so I'm happy

Hope to see you guys out soon!

Pretty good looking! Strange as normally when I look at them I feel a little repulsed! Odd!

Strange thing is, I've been away for about that time too, since I changed my sv for a 9R! And I remember that avatar too!
I was looking for a 7R to make into a track bike, actually.

How bizarre!!
