Am seriously thinking of selling the triumph, just not getting on with it and not particularly enjoying it either, its a fantastic bike and everything just not me I dont think, so am wondering what to do next, sell it and move away from bikes or trade in for something else and if so what ? Its no secret that having short legs doesnt make bikes choices too easy no matter what bike mags and dealers say, tbh it can be a right pain, so anyway dont know what to do, sorry to being having a whinge and that, just got so much crap going around me at the minute.

Its true, couldnt belive how low Matts felt when I had a sit on that.
Failing that get something like a Buell.....when I get frustrated with bikes I always think about getting something abit different like that.

in ride magazine this month they have done something about helping shorter legged people choose better suited bikes.

I noticed you seem to get back ache on the trumpet too Stew, If it ain't working out, be a shame to sell, but, if you don't get on and all.
I wouldn't steer away from bikes altogether, ya just need to find a suited one, just don't go and buy a tractor!

they are indeed a bike with a knee high seat, Paul the 6th sat on our raptor last week, and made it look like a dinky toy! Stu sat on it at the AR and couldn't believe his legs touched the floor!

DR750...
... what?! I'm 5'4" and I spent a fun summer riding one. If you do find an issue with bikes/height, get yourself a nice little old Honda or Kwakka 400. Short as a short thing and bags of fun too - may just revitalise your biking blood. ![]() |

Thanks for the advice, it,s very much appreciated, dunno what to do, thinking of possibly a speed triple or a bonnie, which are both totally different stlyes of bike so you can see how confused I am, dunno will have to have a good hard think about I reckon, thanks.

Speed triple would probably suit your lack of height Stew, i've been looking at them as well but i'm the other way...too tall for it, that was the reason me getting the daytona, nice high seating position, plus i couldn't afford the new Tuono
![]() Also look into Italian market, Monsters are good for the vertically challenged as are Raptors. Whatever you decide don't walk away from bikes mate. And if you do sell your Trumpet i know an idiot who crashed his and is in the market for a new one ![]() |
