Tyre shopper .com

Ive just ordered some conti force tyres off tyre shopper.com and discovered they fit them through national tyre and autocare.

It's well known that national don't do wheel removal, but supply tools and stands.

Question is how difficult is it to remove the wheels and how long should I expect it to take?

errr if you have paid for them to be fitted you should have them fitted... not turn up and you do the work...??

Call em up and tell em to stick it if you get there and find you have to do the work... !

no, national don't remove bike wheels, you either take loose wheels in or remove them yourself in the workshop, they don't accept payment for the act of removing the wheels so you can't expect them to do it because you've paid for it...

on the plu side i take all my tyre needs (car and bike) to them because the guys at my local are spot on and they do good work

what i was getting at was if the website tells you that you have paid for fitting... roll in roll out...surley thats what you should get...

I paid £195 to have new tyres supplied and fitted, If I had turned up and them lend me a spanner they would have had it inserted...?

Im not saying ur wrong... just that its a little bit off (mind you i do not know the wording at point of sale) ....

Tyre Shopper will only fit tyres to loose wheels, though we do supply paddock stands and tools in branches for you to use if you would like to ride in.

yeah... and then read my last scentance..and the origional post says nothing about the website letting him know this.... just that he has paid for tyres and now ahs to remove the wheels himself...

the OP didn't ask about whether national did it or should do it, only about how difficult it was to remove the wheels, you should read the website before jumping to the conclusion that:
