These lovely Wizz leather knee sliders have a lovely patina to them, obtained at great expense, through numerous sets of tyres, gallons of fuel, plenty of burnt oil, at least 4 ferry trips and have touched the hallowed tarmac of the Nurburgring, Spa, Croft, Cadwell and last but not least the A6108.
As you can see this has left them at an ideal vintage where you can wear them and enjoy their lovely visual pleasure without having to go to such effort and expense. As a classic item it is not suggested that these are used out on track, one slider is starting to delaminate a touch, both have the securing staples glinting through like the eyes of a mad man, and one is suffering from friction burns where the backing pad touched down instead of the slider. They have been rotated numerous times to try and ensure even wear and a layered effect, much like a fine ancient oak. However if they do touch down again the nice smooth feel, the sccchooshing sound and aroma of singed leather will surely be worth it. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Now comes the bit you've all been waiting for, the price. Well as it's coming up to Christmas (and these are an ideal present for any wannabe knee downer who can't be bothered, or doesn't intend on knee downing), and the fact sliders like these are are like a fine wine, with their value increasing with age I've decided upon a price of 5GBP including postage and packaging, they should arrive by Christmas. Ideal for a secret Santa at your local org/Mag/IAM/sunday morning meet. I've decided that first come first served is a little unfair for such a rare and special pair such as these, so the most deserving post with the promise of money will be the winner. Note I accept cash and cheques only. Please don't hesitate to ask if you have any further questions. |
