Well it definately isnt the fastest electirc bike in the world. The fastest at the moment that i know of is the "Killacycle" electric dragbike. 7.8 second 1/4 miles at 174mph, difinitively quicker than the ttxgp bike.
Here's the website: http://www.killacycle.com We're trying to develop and electrice bike for the ttxgp here at kingston uni, its quite a task to make one to do a 36 mile lap! |

"Peak power of a 600cc racing bike" (with pic of an SRAD750 ... jog on... ******s ... though that swingarm would look well tasty on a GSXR750 slabby... hummm)
So, with what 120bhp why only 125mph eh? So it's going to make 85bhp, still not too efficient considering the 70ish of the SV can take it up to nearly 130. Annnnd the batteries will probably still only give about a tenth of the energy density of petrol, so it'll be flat if you ride it properly for 10 miles. And it's from the guardian, I feel besmirched by reading the article. Trust them to be on about a gay electric bike. God damn pinko commies.

"On a full charge and at a moderate speed, the bike's 75kg battery will currently allow it to travel around 50 miles. Using a standard 13-amp electric socket, the battery can be recharged in under two hours."
I don't care how fast it might be, that is seriously going to impact your average speed ![]() |

Even to run 50 miles ...
A great deal of that space under the plastics has to be batteries. I'd be worried a crash on a TT course might end up an acid bath for the rider.
