Default Who says Italian bikes cost a lot to run?

Major service just done on the the falco 21K miles

Work done:-

-Air Filter
-4x spark plugs
-1x shim change
-8x shims checked
-Clutch oil changed
-Fork springs and oil changed (I supplied the springs)
-General checks such as Throttle bodies, which were bang on, set up by ear myself, who needs vacuum guages?

Grand total of £164 Yum.

I gather you did it yourself then...in which case it doesn't cost a lot to run an italian bike...its only when you need fairings and exhausts or shocks that they don't make anymore, when it gets expensive...grrrr

And it when the overly keen novice mechanic meddles and theres no service history that the value of the bike drops.

So swings and roundabouts

well this is true, but luckily the one that does the italian stallion in our fold is a qualified engineer and has been building bikes for as long as hes ridden them.......shame he can't pull his finger out and do mine...be cheaper than paying my good friend YC in biscuits n cake.lol

Think ill sticking with my Sv til I'm in my mid 90's.
