K6 Race/Road Project

Hi all

I was hit by a car a few weeks ago and bike has now been classed Cat D. The damage is mainly cosmetic and will require the following to get back on the road...

Front upper fairing
Front Indicators
Magneto cover
Radiator
Right Mirror

Other damage includes a dent in the tank and scuffs to bellypan, exhaust and small scuff on rear fairing.

About the bike - It is a K6 that has just gone over 10k miles and in excellent condition (apart from the accident damage) The exhaust (Carbon Fibre CCC Oval) is less than a 100 miles old (was on the bike for a week). The bike had just been serviced with new air (BMC) and oil filter. The throttle bodies were balanced, new oil and plugs brakes checked etc. Front and back tyres have only done about 2k miles (Battleaxe).

I am the second owner of the bike and have really looked after it - i have spent the last 6 months customising it (see - http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.p...treme+makeover ) and honestly just dont have the heart to do it again !!

NB: before and after pics are shown in the thread above.

Still waiting to see exactly what happens with the insurance but wanting to know if anyone would be keen to take it off my hands and give it some love...

I still have the original rearsets, screen, seat, snorkel etc and all will be included in sale!
