CAn i fold leathers tightly together. I am picking some up next week, but don't want to weat them back. Is it a good idea to fold them tightly, and once folded will they fit in a normal to large sized backpack?
P.S. They're two piece if that makes a difference... Thanks in advance. ![]()

Word of wisdom - you'll need a big bag!

You won't pack them small enough to fit in any rucksack you'll be able to carry safely on your back when riding. They are very bulky even when packed down as far as they'll go. Your best bet is to take some bungees and a couple of large carrier bags with you, and a cargo net if you have one.

I'd be tempted to wear them back with extra layers on top, or at least maybe wear 1 of the 2 pieces so you can fit the other one in a backpack.

I squeezed my one piece leathers into my Tank bag when I went up to Knockhill... It was a bit of a tight fit, but they did fit.

I managed to get a two piece into a rucksack, but as mentioned it was very awkward to ride home afterwards!

I got my leathers in luggage
Took 2 Oxford Sports Panniers, one for trousers and one for jacket - but I managed it. That was without an inbuilt back protector tho. Best bet is the bin bag and bungee approach I think. Or just wear them and start the breaking in procedure.....
