Default Top of my budget Blueflame or cheap Remus?

I've spotted a Blueflame Tri-oval in great condition with appropriate link pipe that I can get for about £80-£90, and a Remus round Inovation that needs a link pipe and a good go with the polish for about £30.
I've searched the exhaust section and have heard about the Blueflame potential problems. But if the price is correct then shurely it's a bargain. Or would the Remus be worth the work to tidy it up and find a link pipe?
Which to go for mighty .orgers

Remus is the best sounding exhaust for a V-twin, the Blueflame maybe a more realistic purchase though as it comes with a SV650 link pipe. Finding a link pipe for a Remus will be a lot harder due to the larger inlet size, although you could get an exhaust company to make one up for you (not sure on the cost).

I'd say get the Remus, the Tri-Oval blueflame's have a nasty habbit of vibrating themselves to pieces and if you're not the original purchaser of the can you may find claiming on the lifetime warranty that blueflame offer to be a little difficult.

The Blueflames, both sound and look good, but I wouldnt buy another one after mine shook itself to pieces.

If you contact blueflame themselves they should be able to provide you with a link pipe though.

The Remus Revolution suits the SV like peaches suit cream. Mmm, cream. But I don't know this one. I got a brand new titanium Revolution for the SV for £110 or thereabouts last year off ebay, never fitted it in the end but it might be worth keeping your eyes open there. Very very heavy, but they're superb.

The Remus Innovation is the budget Remus exhaust, available in Carbon or Aluminium. It is a round design and comes with a lifetime warranty I believe, and it is non-rebuildable.

Cheers for the feedback.
I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!
There is a frabricators up the road who made a fuel tank for my Landrover and they do stainless pipe work too. The over all cost may well end up evening out between the two by getting one made up though.
Fizzwheel: I read your posts in the exhausts section and was surprised to hear about your troubles, and that made me ask the question before blundering in to something expensive.
Remus is now tipping the balance if the link can be made within budget. Maybe high level, now we're talking

I had a Remus revolution in titanium, sounded the dogs. Before you make your decision you need to see how much a link pipe will cost, you might want to call performanceparts-ltd.com as they are remus and Akrapovic stockists, they may be able to supply a pipe or point you in the right direction.

Blueflames are terribly made, and over priced in my opinion and experience. The customer service department is pretty useless too, no one knows what is going on.
