Question stupid queston time again "exhausts"

can i buy any exhaust and get a link pipe made or is there something different between the makes and models of bikes that stop this/ if so ive read some people get r6 stuff on there sv650s could i use one of them or what other ones could i use

and yes im irish yes im stupid but im brave enough to ask

Learn you will, that many pipes there are. Budget pipes fit many link pipes they do. Search you must...

Just be careful with the size of the inlet pipe. I bought an R6 Micron pipe that ended up being 65mm, which is far too big for the SV link pipe. I have "adapted it" to fit. I think standard race cans are around 55 - 57mm. As for the link pipe, buy the SV one, it makes life so much easier.

Most of the UK budget exhausts have the same inlet diameter across their range, with luck you will find one which will fit a SV link pipe. However, there are many companies out there that can make up a link pipe to sut any can and bike.
